Party Rockin in the House tonight!

YOUTH CONFERENCE 2011!
Also...highlight version since I left the morning after I got back from state contests :]

-First off we all knew we were going to be split up into pioneer "companies" when we got there....so no one wanted to go. We all launched a highly extensive plan to run to the hills. But shortly after they made us listen to a youth conference shpill and head for the car...in the parking lot.

-Me, Jennifer, Elysse, and Mack all rode up with Holly and man did we have fun!
-Beans and I were WAAAY hyper all the way up..
-Mack was in shotgun and eating all the M&Ms we were supposed to share and he wouldn't give them to Elysse so when he leaned his chair back she dumped some of her water on his head :]
-Also dear Mack was in charge of navigation....and got us lost. :]

-Finally we arrived...and awaited our fate
-Me Jennifer and Mack were more or less freaking out..We were SOO scared to find out who was in our company!
-Turns out I knew nobody but a young boy...with blonde hair, and brown eyes with a passion for Herriman High baseball caps....TYLER EDWARD! that made it better ;]


Now we get to the really jumbled mess of memories I remember :] Not in any order whatso ever:
-Me and Tyler were in the Partridge company...in a clearing that was always shady...So we got so many "Strangers" [aka the clan] that Harrison was like "Holy cow! How many friends do you two have!?!?!?"
-P.S. My two youth leaders were Harrison and Erinn's big brother Joel
-Ashlee and Jennifer were in the same company...So somehow me and Tyler spent a lot of time over at the Palmyra campsite :]

-The first morning I woke up and had to wear my glasses cause I'm having trouble seeing and my hair was really ugly pulled up and I climb out of my tent hoping to find Katie to help me before I see anyone else. And when I walk out? Tyler and the rest of the clan were up eating breakfast...Alrighty :]
-We had to do a relay race where you had to run down a steep terrain and button up a white shirt, tie a tie, run and look up some scriptures, run back and take off the missionary clothes, and run back.
-Ya...Tie tying? Not one of my skills! Tyler tried to help but he's one of those kids that can't explain it he just does it, so Joel helped :]
-We also had to make a boat out of lotsa cardboard and prayed it float...
-But just in case me and Tyler opted out..We didn't really wanna take a dunk in the pond.
-So me, him, Ashlee, and Erinn cheered on our friends and laughed when the boats all broke :]
-Tyler and Ashlee [p.s. I don't know if I've mentioned but she's his girlfriend] were having a cutesie moment and me and Erinn tried not to ruin it so we turned towards the pond and..knocked heads and fell over laughing...Cute moment killed.
-We had to do a faith walk [a really hard one] and Erinn and Tyler went in before me...but somewhere along the way I heard Tyler behind me and we had a nice conversation while we were blindfolded and then I finally made it out...and was alone with the stake president and his wife....Tyler and Erinn got lost a couple times....
-We had a marshmallow gun war....or were supposed to. Me, Erinn, and Tyler all sat around. Me and erinn attempted to shoot Tyler..but it just flopped out.
-Me and Erinn were hiking back to camp from the pond and Tyler was way ahead of us so we werent even thinking bout him till he looped through the woods and scared me
-The ground was all rocky and full of little dips....I without fail fell in every single one.
-So one night me and Tyler were over at Palmyra campsite and decided since it was curfew we should probably go back to Partridge. Since it was really dark and both of us forgot flashlights we linked arms...and I still fell over everything. Tyler didn't allow me to leave his sight after 8 every again.
-We cut blankets for a service project and I cut a bug in half...so I was very sad.
-We went on many an adventure in the mountains
-We had to do some trust falls....which I didn't participate in cause I have no trust..even in my brother.
-Also theere was one where you had to link arms and a person would walk on top of them and you'd run to the back of the line and do it again...Ouch! If I had bruises before...I was black and blue all over.
-We had lots of delightful devotionals
-Tyler was a smart young man and ate 9 whole sugar cubes....his mother doesn't allow him to drink caffiene and for good reason! He was on the BIGGEST sugar high I've ever seen! It was soooo funny! Jennifer dubbed it "High on the Mountaintop" because we were supposed to sing that hymn and that was one of the only times I've ever heard him sing...Loudly and VERY off key :]
-During this time we had a bunch of rotations...Where we had to do a wheelbarrow race and open a starburst in our mouth..Which I surprisingly rocked at. Tyler not so much :]
-Then he played a game where you have to tie a water bottle around your waist and put coins in a teeny tiny spot and wiggle around till they all fall out. :] He very much looked like a spaz.
-There was also that game where you all stand on a tarp and have to flip it over..and then fold it in half and flip it. Which is not so good when your in the back and have no balance whatsoever. Tyler had to hold me up :]
-We also played 3d twister which is where someone has the bells and they call someone up and that person has to put them in a positon and then so on and so on until the first person drops the bells and the last person across the street has to hold the bells. Since my ward was in charge of this activity I got to hold it first..So I picked Tyler and he had me down on the ground with my arms above my head..So I asked him if I dropped my bells if he'd help me up. He agreed so I dropped them and he grabbed my arm so hard and so fast I like FLEW up and we ran :]
-One day Tyler went up in the mountains by himself for a while. So eventually Jennifer went on a rescue mission. Then we lost Jennifer so Me, Tyler Barnyard, and Lindsey all went up the mountain to search.
-On our way Tyler had to pee so he went in the trees. He warned us first so me and Lindsey lay in the road and closed our eyes :]
-The whole rest of the way up the mountain the boy kept dancing cause he had an ant in his pants :] Haha
-The last morning I woke up WAAAY early. But of course the boy was already up and Ashlee was with him helping make breakfast...So I helped and then Lexi and Tyler's big brother Scott took around a big pot and spoon and kept whacking it saying "Bring out your dead!" to wake everybody up. We three went gallavanting up the mountain and we could still hear them almost a mile away.
-Turns out Scott broke the spoon at Mack's campsite :]
-Then me, ashlee, tyler, jennifer, and krysteen all sat by each other during the almost 3 hour long devotional...Me and Krysteen only have the attention span for maybe an hour...and then we couldn't hold still. Soo I didn't get as much out of it cause we were going nuts
-Then Brother Waite ambushed us during lunch and said "Everyone! To Holly's truck!" and so our ward all ate with each other, and then got out of there as fast as we could :] So fun! But enough dirt, bugs, and holes to last a lifetime :]

Yet...Who could forget Ward night? [The last night of youth conference]
-We were all sitting in a campground listening to my bishop
-A bunch of people were sitting on a log...Katie and Jesse included so over in our little section of log it was:
Jesse, Katie, Jennifer
Mack, Hannah
Cause we were leaning on Jesse and Katie's legs and sitting on the ground.
-After the spiritual part, we actually got done faster so we all bummed around and talked. IT WAS FREEZING!
-So we all huddled close together. [Still sitting]
-Me and Mack switched places though so it'd be less awkward and Jennifer moved down to sit next to Mack
-Then we had really funny yet awkward conversations and laughed insanely.
-Michelle came over and was like "What are y'all doin?" and Jesse smoothly replied "You wanna join? There's room in my left arm!" :]
-Jennifer went away and Holly decided to come over and cuddle up next to Mack.[keep in mind that Holly is my 40 year old young womens leader.]
-Brother Price decided to sit in the lawn chair and talk to us...He is one of the funniest guys over 30 I know
- Brother Price and Holly and us tried to think of excellent pranks for Brother Waite
- We were trying to put his tent on top of the port-a-potties but we decided that it would take to much effort.
- Brother Price suggested that we should just still his scriptures because he would be devastated.
- It was time to have ice cream sandwiches with the stake so we ran across the street and then ran back to our positions because we were freezing.
-Katie put a ponytail in Mack's hair and then Mack said " well this is awkward" and then Katie said " It is only awkward if Jesse starts playing with Hannah's hair... and then they looked over and saw that Jesse had been playing with my hair and nobody noticed... not even me!
- Brother Price came over with a great big smile which made us nervous!
- Brother Waite has his infamous giant hiking backpack that has a cup attached to the side of it and every time he turned around Brother Price through some kind of garbage into it.
-Then he recruited us to contribute to the trash...It was really funny to watch Brother Waite look at us cause we were laughing so hard we were crying and then look down and yell "WHERE IS ALL OF THIS COMING FROM!?!?!?! :]
-Afterwards we all huddled together by the rest of the wards and talked to some people we knew like Zack Lyman.
-It was way funny cause me, Jesse, Mack, Jennifer were all linking arms and standing way close to each other and I was laying my head on Mack's shoulder and Zack goes "WOAH WOAH! I SEE A PROBLEM HERE!" and shoves Mack aside and links arms with me and says "Problem fixed" :]
-And then I got engaged to Mack :]
-When it was way past curfew the boys walked us back to camp :] But Tyler was still with his ward so I was just chilling...Till one of the girls asked me to walk to the bathroom with her...So I did and then we back tracked through Mack's campground and he was like "Hannah are you kidding me? We put you to bed!" Haha rebel :]

All in all Youth conference was soo spiritual and so wonderful and fun at the same time :] I know I'm forgetting everything ;] But you had to be there :]

PS the title? the song Tyler got stuck in my head...alll the time! :]
